We've recently been commission by the Center for Biomimicry at ASU to build a river-style conference table using two bookmatched slabs of Silky Oak, storm-fallen urban lumber reclaimed by Wine Glass Bar Saw Mill in Tempe, Arizona.
This table will be getting a steel base/frame with a handcut clear glass inlay down the center.
