Maple Burl Amethyst Resin River Art

I created this 18" round wall art piece from spalted Maple burl live edge slabs with over 8 pieces of Amethyst crystal cluster cast in a ghost purple shimmer resin.

This piece was featured in the February 2020 issue of Phoenix Home & Garden adjacent to 4 Peaks Amethyst Mine in an editorial written by Rebecca Rhoades. This piece sold within 2 weeks to a collector in Kingman, AZ. She called me when the issue came in the mail and said "I must have this!"

I have since made 3 other versions in different sizes, wood and crystal colors for other clients.
