Our client in Scottsdale has commissioned us to build a bold vibrant desk made from a large Maple burl live edge slab with an unusual shape that we have come to call the Gummy Bear. It has matching tapered ebonized maple legs.
The "plumcrazy" translucent purple resin matches his Mopar Dodge Challenger. I carved and polished the sculpted edges of the wood and resin for practical feel while keep all of the slab on display , with color pop matching his adjacent special car.
