We started this build with intent to save this really cool piece of highly figured Claro Walnut. This top started as a cut-off from a much larger slab, but was cupped and twisted badly with an unstable bark void.
In attempt to save and do the wood the most justice we filled and stabilized the slab with black resin and flattened it. After several other requests for large C-Table we decided thats what this would be. We then used some live edge scraps from past projects to make waterfall (continuous grain wrap) miter joint frame for the slab top.
